Mathew van Kooy is an architect with a broad range of experience, he has a particular interest in small highly detailed projects which is balanced against an astute understanding of large scale commercial projects and their high performance facades.

Mathew is a Senior Associate and design leader within John Wardle Architects (JWA) where his work ranges across project phases and scales, primarily the design and inception of public, civic and commercial projects. Mathew has of late extended his focus to the design of bridges and associated large scale infrastructure.

Recent projects include the Summer Architecture Pavilion for the National Gallery of Victoria and the Tanderrum Bridge for Major Projects Victoria. Mathew was recently awarded one of the five positions on the international Dulux Study Tour 2016 as a leading emerging architect.
